Yamaha has evaluated the compatibility of its motorcycles with E5 and E10 biofuels following Vietnamese government directives. Motorcycles with electronic fuel injection (FI) systems are compatible with E10, while carburetor models manufactured from 2017 onwards can use E10, and earlier models are recommended to use E5. Regular fuel system maintenance and avoidance of unapproved additives are advised.
