Kawasaki Motor recalls 2024 Ninja 500 and Z500 motorcycles due to improper welding of the clutch release shaft. The defect can cause the clutch lever to break and fail to disengage, potentially disabling the motorcycle and increasing crash risk. Dealers will replace the clutch release shaft free of charge.
