Reigning Pro Stock Motorcycle World Champion Richard Gadson advanced to the second round at the NHRA Potomac Nationals at Maryland International Raceway on June 1st. Although Gadson qualified second and won his first round, he lost to Ryan Oehler in the second round, marking his first failure to reach at least the semi-finals since last season. Despite the loss, he maintained his 26-point championship lead.
